Like a lot...Vampyr is beautiful, but it is uneven. Like a lot of films made during the transition to sound, it seems a little shaky. Still, many of the images are wonderful. I especially remember the scene where the man in the coffin is being carried through the streets, and he's looking at the sky above. I haven't seen Vampyr for years, but I remember it had a lovely, haunting quality.<br /><br />PS<br />I found your blog because I was looking for an image from Moonstruck.
